Bridget Stone
Library Director She/Her I’m Bridget Stone, I grew up in Underhill and spent 4 years as Children’s Librarian at Essex Free Library engaging kids and families. I said "SHHH!" only once. I weave my background in Literature and Education into listening carefully to the art and beauty in everyone’s words. All of our stories matter; they are how we create, recreate and remember. Our stories are the interior world we inhabit, and the foundation of our lived world. I start every day with a smile on my face because there is always something new to learn. I am eager to use my life to the benefit and service of others. This is more than a job; I’m thrilled to join the mission of Georgia Public Library as a thriving community hub of gathering, learning, fun, reflection and growth. |
Jessie Moore
Library Assistant
She/Her
Jessie can trace her appreciation for libraries back to first grade, when her teacher gave her special permission to spend “ELA” time reading in the school library. Many years later, she majored in English at William Smith College in Geneva, NY, with a focus on 19th-century British literature.
In 2015, Jessie earned her Master of Library and Information Studies through the University of Alabama and obtained her teaching license in School Library Media. She was a school librarian for ten years, first at Williamstown Elementary School, then at Hinesburg Community School.
Jessie owns a very librarian-esque pair of cat-eye glasses, and she enjoys reading sci-fi and historical fiction in her free time. As a library assistant at the Georgia Public Library, Jessie leads Crafternoons and Tween Book Club and supports the operations of the library. She looks forward to meeting you when you stop by!

Mindy Grange
Library Assistant She/Her Mindy is a Library Assistant who loves creating a warm, inviting space where everyone feels at home. Whether she’s checking out books, chatting about favorite reads, shelving materials, or coordinating interlibrary loans, she enjoys helping the library feel like a true “third place” for the community—a cozy spot between home and work where people can connect, explore, and unwind. When she’s not in the stacks, Mindy is a self-proclaimed professional hobby jumper. You might find her experimenting with fiber arts, hiking a new trail, diving into an obscure research rabbit hole, exploring her family’s genealogy, cooking something comforting, or simply enjoying time with her family. She believes libraries are for everyone, and she’s delighted to help each patron discover something they love. |

I’m delighted to serve as a Trustee with the Georgia Public Library. I bring to the table experience with school and public libraries from cities, suburbs and rural areas across the country. From a young age I developed a love of books, libraries, bookstores and all things reading. My background is in Child and Family law, and I believe everyone should have access to a robust variety of reading materials- and a stellar library to read them in! I moved to Georgia with my family in 2021 and have been active in the community as a GEMS substitute teacher, PTCO Book Fair co-chair, Town Health Officer and Zoning Clerk, and volunteering with the local Girl Scouts and Boy Scout troops. My husband Chris and I have two children who also love to read, and we enjoy being a part of the GPL family.

Terry Cleveland
Treasurer She/Her |
I have been a resident of Georgia since 2010, after living in Colchester for thirty-two years. I am semi-retired as an accountant/bookkeeper, owning my own business.
I am an avid reader, belonging to a long-established book club, and a writer that meets twice a month with my writing group. In my spare time, I garden, swim, and take long walks in town. As a library Trustee, I hope to continue to support the well-being of the library as well as to act as a liaison with the town as the library works towards building a sustainable budget to address the immediate needs that they are experiencing. |
